AGCO hikes dividend by 20.8% and pays $5.00 special dividend

Griffon pays $2.00 special dividend

On April 20, 2023, the Griffon Corp (GFF) board approved two actions to return additional capital to shareholders. First, Griffon increased its share repurchase authorization to $258 million from the prior unused authorization of $58 million. Cricut pays special dividend

On December 2, 2022, Cricut Inc. (CRCT) has declared a $0.35 per share special dividend. The technology company does not pay a regular quarterly dividend to shareholders. Cricut, Inc. announced that the Board of Directors, through its Audit Committee, has declared a special, one-time cash dividend of $0.35 per share to holders of the Company’s Class A and Class B Common Stock. Dillard’s pays special dividend

On November 17, 2022, Dillard’s, Inc. (DDS) declared a $15.00 per share special dividend. This matches the $15.00 special dividend paid by DDS in december 2021. Last year Dillard's hiked its dividend for the 11th consecutive year. So far this year a dividend hike has not yet been announced by the retailer. The DDS special dividend is payable January 30, 2023 to shareholders of record as of December 30, 2022. On September 20, 2022, Saga Communications, Inc. (SGA) declared declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share, up 25% from the previous dividend of $0.20 quarterly per share. AMERCO (UHAL) will pay a special cash dividend of $0.50 per share in April 2022. Last year the parent of U-Haul International paid three special dividends of $0.50 per share. The next UHAL dividend will be payable April 29, 2022 to holders of record on April 18, 2022. AMERCO is a do-it-yourself moving and storage operator through its subsidiary, U-Haul International, Inc. The company also operates as an insurer through its subsidiaries Oxford Life Insurance Company, Repwest Insurance Company and Amerco Real Estate Company. U-Haul is the largest retailer of propane in the U.S., and continues to be the largest installer of permanent trailer hitches in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Costamare (CMRE) will pay a special dividend of 50 cents per share in 2022. The regular quarterly dividend is 11.5 cents per share. CMRE last raised its quarterly dividend by 15 percent to $0.115 per share in 2021. This was the first increase in years by the containership company and follows a dividend cut of 65.5 percent from $0.29 to $0.10 per share in 2016.  Costamare has decided to declare a special dividend on its common stock of US $0.50 per share.
