Havertys and Transdigm announce 2023 special dividends | 50 years of growth for UBSI
Several US listed companies announced their annual dividend hikes in the week from November 6 to 10, 2023. We have made a selection of increases and special dividend announcements, including Haverty, United Bankshares, Four Corners Property and Transdigm.
We have selected two regular dividend hikes and two special dividend announcements from companies that pay annual special dividends and/or do annual dividend hikes.
Most remarkable is the 50th consecutive year of dividend growth by little known financial company UBSI. The company however is not an official Dividend Aristocrat.

Haverty Furniture Companies will pay a $1.00 per share special dividend on December 13, 2023 with ex-dividend datum November 27.
This comes on top of a regular quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share for Havertys, yielding 4.2% at a stock price of $28.92. The company has now raised the regular dividend for 14 consecutive years with a 5 yr CAGR of 10.8%.
United Bankshares announced a 2.8% dividend hike to $0.37 quarterly per share on November 10, 2023, marking 50 consecutive years of dividend growth. The dividend yield jumps to 5.0% at a stock price of $29.58.
Four Corners Property Trust announced a 1.5% dividend hike on November 10, 2023 bringing the quarterly payment to 34.5 cents per share.
This marks 7 consecutive years of increased dividends by the commercial REIT. The dividend yield for FCPT jumps to 6.3% at a stock price of $21.87.
Defense/aerospace company Transdigm Group (TDG) will pay a $35.00 per share special dividend on November 27, 2023. This follows a $18.50 special dividend in 2022 by TDG. The company does not pay a regular dividend to shareholders.
