Conagra Brands cuts dividend by 50%

Conagra Brands (CAG) cut its quarterly dividend on July 15, 2026, reducing the payout by 50.0% to $0.175 per share.

The reduction marks Conagra Brands' third dividend cut in the past two decades. The company also lowered its dividend by approximately 20% in 2016. At a share price of $14.28, the new annualized dividend yield is approximately 4.9%. The ex-dividend date is July 30, 2026.

Conagra Brands left its dividend unchanged in both 2024 and 2025 before announcing the 50.0% cut in 2026. This follows dividend increases of 6.1% in 2023, 5.6% in 2022, 13.6% in 2021 and 29.4% in 2020.

Conagra Brands is a U.S. packaged-food company whose portfolio includes brands such as Birds Eye, Healthy Choice, Marie Callender's, Slim Jim, Reddi-wip and Hunt's.
