Atmos Energy hikes dividend for 29th consecutive year
Atmos Energy, the largest natural-gas-only distributor in the United States, will raise its quarterly dividend to $0.45 per share, marking 29 years of consecutive dividend increases.
The dividend will be paid on December 12, 2016, to shareholders of record on November 28, 2016. This is the company’s 132nd consecutive quarterly dividend.
The indicated annual dividend for fiscal 2017 is $1.80 and translates into a 2.5% dividend yield at the current stock price of $72.07.
