Colgate-Palmolive increases dividend for 52nd consecutive year

Dividend Aristocrat Colgate-Palmolive will raise its dividend by 5,6%.

Colgate (NYSE:CL) will increase its quarterly dividend from $0,36 to $0,38 per share, marking 52 years of consecutive dividend increases.

Also, Colgate-Palmolive announced a new $5 billion buyback program that replaces the current program that was approved by the board in September 2011.

Colgate currently has an indicated dividend yield of 2,2%.
