Fastenal hikes dividend by 2.3%

Dividend Aristocrat Fastenal  will hike its dividend by 2.3% to $0.44 quarterly per share. This is the second dividend increase by Fastenal in 2025 for a total dividend hike of 12.8% YTD.

Fastenal Company just announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.44 per share, payable on May 23, 2025, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 25, 2025. 

Fastenal has a long history of returning value to shareholders. The company began paying annual dividends in 1991, moved to semi-annual payouts in 2003, and adopted a quarterly dividend structure in 2011. In addition to regular dividends, Fastenal has issued special one-time dividends in December of 2008, 2012, 2020, and most recently in 2023.

While the board currently intends to maintain quarterly dividend payments, future decisions will depend on the company's financial performance and other relevant considerations at the time.
