Dividend Aristocrat Clorox announces 1.7% dividend increase in 2022

Dividend Aristocrat Clorox (CLX) on July 12, 2022 declared a quarterly dividend of $1.18 per share. This will mark the 45th consecutive year of increased dividend by Clorox.

The Clorox Company (NYSE: CLX) announced today that its board of directors has declared a 2% increase in the quarterly dividend, from $1.16 to $1.18 per share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable Aug. 12, 2022, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 27, 2022.

For Clorox this however is the smallest dividend increase in more than a decade with the average dividend growth rate in the last five years being 7.0%, even if we include this new 2022 dividend hike.
