Royal Caribbean hikes dividend by 11.4%

Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) will raise its quarterly dividend by 11.4 percent to $0.78 per share in 2019. This makes 2019 the 8th consecutive year of annual dividend increases by the cruise vacation company.

The next dividend is payable on October 11, 2019, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 20, 2019. A new annual rate of $3.12 per share yields 2.8% at a stock price of $113.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is a global cruise vacation company that owns and operates three global brands: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises. Also, the company is a 50% joint venture owner of the German brand TUI Cruises, a 49% shareholder in the Spanish brand Pullmantur Cruceros.
