Leggett & Platt raises dividend for 46th year

Leggett & Platt (LEG) will raise its dividend by 5.9 percent.

The quarterly dividend will be increased to $0.36 per share, marking the 46th straight year of dividend increases by Dividend Aristocrat Leggett & Platt.

The dividend will be paid on July 14, 2017 to shareholders of record on June 15, 2017.

A member of Standard & Poor's Dividend Aristocrats, Leggett & Platt has increased its annual dividend for 46 consecutive years. At an annual indicated dividend of $1.44 per share, the yield is 2.7%, based upon yesterday's closing stock price of $53.45 per share.

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is a manufacturer of engineered components and products found in homes, offices, automobiles and commercial aircraft. The company’s products include  steel coiled bedsprings, components and finished products for the office seating market, automotive seating components and tubing for the aerospace industry, specialized machinery and equipment, and service van interiors.
