Wal-Mart Stores increases dividend for 43rd consecutive year
Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) will hike its dividend by 2%.
The quarterly dividend is raised to $0.50 per share, marking 43 years of consecutive dividend increases.
“We’ve had a long history of returns to shareholders, and we’re pleased to continue building on that by raising our annual dividend for the 43rd consecutive year,” said Brett Biggs, chief financial officer at Walmart.
