Stepan increases dividend for 48th consecutive year

Stepan (SCL) will raise its dividend by 5.6%.

Specialty chemicals producer Stepan will increase its quarterly dividend from $0.18 to $0.19 per share, marking 48 consecutive years of dividend increases.

Stepan, a leading merchant producer of surfactants, which are the key ingredients in consumer and industrial cleaning compounds, has an indicated dividend yield of 1.6% based on today's stock price of $52.51.

Stepan Company is a manufacturer of specialty and intermediate chemicals. Stepan produces surfactants, which are the key ingredients in consumer and industrial cleaning compounds and in agricultural and oilfield solutions.  The Company is also a supplier of Polyurethane polyols used in the thermal insulation market, and C.A.S.E. (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) industries.
