Bemis increases dividend for 32nd consecutive year

Bemis Corporation (NYSE: BMS) will raise its dividend by 3,7%.

The quarterly dividend will be hiked from $0,27 to $0,28 per share, marking 32 years of consecutive dividend increases.

The new annual dividend of $1,12 per share translates into a dividend yield of 2,4% at Thursday's closing price of $46,34 per share for Dividend Aristocrat Bemis Corporation.

“Our dividend program is an important part of our shareholders' total return on investment in Bemis Company," said William F. Austen, Bemis Company's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our annual cash dividend has increased consecutively for 32 years, reflecting the confidence of our Board of Directors in our ability to generate strong cash flow and achieve our long-term growth targets."
