AbbVie increases dividend by 4,1%

Dividend Aristocrat AbbVie will raise its quarterly dividend from $0,49 to $0,51 per share.

After AbbVie was spun off by Abbott Laboratories the company paid it's first dividend in 2013. However, S&P has added AbbVie to its Dividend Aristocrats Index, together with Abbott Labs.

Since Abbott now has raised its dividend for 42 consecutive years, today's dividend hike by AbbVie theoretically marks the 43rd year of dividend increases for AbbVie.

AbbVie currently has an indicated dividend yield of 3,5%.
