W. R. Berkley hikes dividend by 11.1% and pays special dividend

W. R. Berkley (WRB) will hike its quarterly dividend by 11.1% to 10 cents per share and will pay a 50 cent special dividend. This marks 25 consecutive years of increases by WRB. The company pays annual special dividends: in 2025 a total special dividend of $1.50 was paid. At a stock price of $68.57 the regular dividend yields just 0.6%, but this does not include the special dividend payments.
