S&P Global hikes dividend by 1%

S&P Global (SPGI) approved a modest dividend increase on January 14, 2026, lifting its quarterly payout by 1% to $0.97 per share.

The adjustment extends S&P Global’s dividend growth streak to 53 consecutive years, maintaining its status as a Dividend Aristocrat. The increase represents the smallest dividend hike on record over the past two decades of tracking. In 2024, the dividend was also raised by a relatively limited 1.1%, marking a new low point in annual growth rates. Based on a share price of $545, the dividend translates into a yield of approximately 0.7%. The ex-dividend date is February 25, 2026.
