Goldman Sachs hikes dividend by 12.5%

Goldman Sachs (GS) approved a higher quarterly dividend on January 15, 2026, increasing the payout by 12.5% to $4.50 per share.

The increase brings Goldman Sachs’ dividend growth record to 15 consecutive years. In the prior year, the bank implemented a significantly larger 33.3% dividend hike. Over the past five years, the dividend has expanded at a compound annual rate of 17.6%. Based on a share price of $963, the dividend translates into a yield of approximately 1.6%. The ex-dividend date is March 2, 2026.

Shares of Goldman Sachs are up approximately 11% year-to-date in 2026.
