Microsoft hikes dividend by 9.6%

On Monday, Microsoft Corp. announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.91 per share, marking an increase of 8 cents, or 10%, over the previous quarter. The dividend will be paid on December 11, 2025, to shareholders of record as of November 20, 2025. The ex-dividend date is also November 20, 2025.
At a stock price of $515.36 the dividend yield for Microsoft is 0.7%. Microsoft has now hiked its dividend for 23 consecutive years and is the biggest dividend payer in the United States with an estimated $27.1 billion annually.
Last year Microsoft announced a 10.7% dividend increase. The stock has gained 22.9% year-to-date in 2025.
