Walt Disney reinstates semi-annual dividend and Graco raises for 27th year

On December 1, 2023, Morningstar (MORN) announced a dividend hike of 8.0% to $0.405 quarterly per share. This marks 13 consecutive years of increased dividends by the provider of independent investment insights. At a stock price of $284 the dividend yield for Morningstar is 0.6%. The company now pays an estimated $69 million in dividends annually. The average dividend hike was 7.7% annually in the last 5 years.

A day before, on November 30, 2023, Walt Disney reinstated its semi-annual dividend. The cash dividend of $0.30 per share in respect of the second half of fiscal year 2023 is payable January 10, 2024 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 11, 2023 and yields only 0.6% at a stock price of $92 for Walt Disney.
