Dividend Aristocrat Roper raises dividend for 30th year in a row

On november 10, 2022, Roper Technologies (trading symbol ROP) declared a new quarterly dividend of $0.6825 per share, up 10.1% from the previous quarterly dividend of $0.62 per share. This new dividend hike marks 30 consecutive years of increased dividends by Dividend Aristocrat Roper.

In 2021 Roper also announced a double digit dividend hike with a 10.2 percent increase to 62 cents quarterly per share. This marked the 29th consecutive year of increased dividends by the technology and software company.


The next Roper dividend will be payable on January 23, 2023 to stockholders of record as of January 9, 2023. The ex-dividend date for the increased dividend of 68.25 cents per share is January 6, 2023. At a stock price of $432 the new dividend yield for Roper Technologies is 0.6%.

Another Dividend Aristocrat just announcing a dividend increase is insurer Aflac. The 5% dividend hike by Aflac marks 40 consecutive years of increased dividends.


Roper Technologies is a constituent of the S&P 500, Fortune 1000, and the Russell 1000 indices. Roper operates businesses that design and develop software (both license and software-as-a-service) and engineered products and solutions for a variety of niche end markets. Roper operates through four segments: Application software, Network Software & Systems, Measurement & Analytical solutions and Process Technologies. The company had paid a dividend every year since at least 1992.
