Whirlpool hikes dividend by 25%
Whirlpool Corporation (WHR) will raise its quarterly dividend by 25 percent to $1.75 per share in 2022. This follows a dividend hike of 12 percent in Q2 of 2021 and will mark the 12th consecutive calendar year of dividend increases by the appliances maker.
The next dividend is payable June 15, 2022, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 20, 2022. The next ex-dividend date for Whirlpool stock is May 19, 2022. A new annual dividend rate of $7.00 per share yields 4.1% at a stock price of $175.
