Bank of Hawaii hikes dividend by 4.5%

Bank of Hawaii (BOH) will raise its quarterly dividend by 4.5 percent to 70 cents per share in 2021. This comes after a dividend hike of 3.1 percent to $0.67 per share two years ago when 2019 marked the 4th consecutive year of dividend increases by the financial services company. This new hike will mark 6 calendar years with higher dividend paid to shareholders.

The next dividend will be payable on September 15, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 31, 2021. A new annual rate of $2.80 yields 3.4% at a stock price of $83.24.
