AT&T raises dividend for 32nd consecutive year

Dividend Aristocrat AT&T (T) will hike its dividend by 2.1%. In 2015 already 50 out of 52 Dividend Aristocrats have raised their dividend.

AT&T will increase its quarterly dividend by $0.01 to $0.48 per share, marking 32 years of consecutive dividend increases.

“Our continued financial strength and outlook for strong cash flows give us the confidence to increase our dividend for the 32nd consecutive year,” said Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T.

AT&T currently has an estimated dividend yield of 5.7%.

DIVIDEND ARISTOCRATS
With AT&T right now 50 out of 52 Dividend Aristocrats have raised their dividend in 2015. Only 3M  (MMM) and Chevron (CVX) didn't announce a higher dividend yet.

3M should announce its annual dividend increase next week, just like it did last year. For Chevron shareholders probably won't get their annual dividend hike in 2015. The oil major already skipped its annual dividend hike in the second quarter.
