Abbott Laboratories increases dividend for 44th consecutive year

Dividend Aristocrat Abbott Laboratories (ABT) will raise its dividend by 8.3%.

Abbott will hike its dividend to $0.26 quarterly, marking 44 years of consecutive dividend increases.

The estimated dividend yield for Abbott is 2.3% based on Friday's close of $44.36.
