American States Water increases dividend for 61st consecutive year

American States Water Company will raise its dividend by 5.2%.

The quarterly dividend will be increased from $0.213 to $0.224 per share, marking 61 years of consecutive dividend increases by the water utility company.

American States Water (AWR) has been paying dividends since 1931 and raised its annual dividend since 1954.

The indicated dividend yield for American States Water is 2.3% based on Tuesday's closing price of $38.58 per share.
