Linear Technology increases dividend for 23rd consecutive year

Linear Technology will raise its quarterly dividend by 11%.

The quarterly dividend will be hiked from $0,27 to $0,30 per share, marking 23 years of consecutive dividend increases.

Linear Technology Corporation (NYSE: LLTC) has an indicated dividend yield of 2,6% at the current stock price of $45,62.

According to Lothar Maier, Linear Technology Corporation's CEO, his company has increased it's cash return to shareholders now that Linear no longer has to repay debt.

"Accordingly, we are currently forecasting revenues to grow sequentially by 4% to 7% in our fiscal third quarter. In addition, now that we no longer have debt to repay, we have increased our cash return to shareholders in the form of larger dividends and share buybacks. We increased our quarterly dividend by 11%.".
