AT&T increases dividend for 31st consecutive year

Dividend Aristocrat AT&T will raise its dividend by 2,2%.

The telecom company will increase its quarterly dividend from $0,46 to $0,47 per share. It's the 31st consecutive year of dividend increases for Dow component AT&T.

"Returning value to our shareholders is a top priority and we're pleased that this is the 31st straight year we've increased our quarterly dividend," said Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T.

With a new annual dividend payment of $1,88 per share AT&T's indicated dividend yield is 5,6%.
