McDonald's increases dividend for 39th consecutive year

McDonald's (MCD) will raise its quarterly dividend to $0.89 per share, marking 39 straight years of higher dividend payments.

Other than the last couple of years McDonald's waited 5 quarters before announcing the 2015 dividend hike. Dividend growth has slowed significantly for Dividend Aristocrat McDonald's, with 5% increases for the last three years, following 10%+ dividend increases in the prior years.

The indicated dividend yield for McDonald's is 3.2% based on the current stock price of $113.
