VF Corp raises dividend for 44th consecutive year

VF Corporation (VFC) will raise its quarterly dividend by 13.5%.

On October 20, VF's Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share, reflecting a 14 percent increase over the previous quarter's dividend. This dividend will be payable on December 19, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 9, 2016.

Dividend Aristocrat VF Corp, owner of  brands like The North Face, Vans, Timberland, Wrangler and Lee, has now raised its dividend for 44 consecutive years.

The current dividend yield is 3.1% based on a $54.24 stock price for VF Corp.
